The Kitzbühel alps are the perfect holiday destination for hikers. Here you can explore the Tyrolean mountains in a sporty way with over 400 km of hiking tours! From the hiking trails you also have a fantastic view of the mountains, forests and the wide fields of the alpine landscape.

highly recommended is a hike to the Wildseeloderhaus, which is located right on the idyllic mountain lake Wildseeloder. This mountain lake is one of the most famous sights in Fieberbrunn and Tyrol.

Experience the nature up close and personal while hiking, but also during a little stop on a terrace of one of the many mountain huts on the hiking routes. Taste a Tyrolean speciality and enjoy the broad view of the summery mountain peaks.

Hiking for all ages

In the area there are hiking trails for all degrees of difficulty. Families with young children, beginners and even experienced and practiced hikers will find a suitable trail, and if you like, a challenging stretch for a sporty excursion.
The start and end points of the relevant hiking routes are easy to reach with the regional bus. You will receive a guest card from us, with which you can use the busses in the Pillersee Valley for free. On other routes, you can also ride up the mountain with the gondola. You can get a PillerseeTal Card in the local tourist office to use the gondola. With PillerseeTal Card you really save some cash!

Hikes even for the little ones

Your child isn't a fan of extensive hikes? We've got some ideas for you! The mountain across from our Wallenburg Holiday Village has plenty to offer. An adventure path with many stations, a petting zoo, a forest ropes course and much more will put your child in a hiking mood. There is a long Friday every Friday in the summer. The Streuböden lift is then open until 11:00 p.m. Play, fun and every Friday a new theme on the Streuböden inn.

In Waidring there is the TriassicPark adventure trail on the Steinplatte. You'll be transported back to the stone age.

A really easy via ferrata that the children can climb on is called “Himmel and Henne”. It is located on the Lärchfilzkogel in the hiking region of Fieberbrunn.

Hiking tours to the Wildseeloderhaus

Test the hiking routes around the Pillersee, to the Hochkogel, the Gebra chapel or the Pletzergraben. The route to the Wildseeloderhaus is also lovely, which will lead you to a romantic mountain lake. From here you can also climb up to the peak of the “Henne”, or just stroll along the beautiful floral path. Many hikers have even seen marmots along this route.
