Nearly all of the peaks between the four villages of the “home of lässig” lifts can be easily reached with the gondolas. Innumerable meadows and peaks await hikers. And the nearly 40 catered alpine huts spoil you with regional specialities.

The accessible viewing platform floats 70 metres from the ground and offers spectacular sights down the mountain and breath-taking views. And close by, you'll find the Triassic Park with information about primeval times and life-sized dinosaurs.

With the barrier-free lifts you can easily reach the starting point of seven hiking trails with four peaks.  Particularly beautiful are the reservoir ponds, the Almsee lake and Rote Marmorsee lake. A family-friendly hiking and skiing area.

From leisurely  hikes on green alpine meadows to high alpine tours and freeride bike trails to the viewing platform TOP OF SALZBURG at 3029 metres, everything is possible in Kaprun and on the Kitzsteinhorn mountain. Almost until the beginning of summer, ski and snowboard enthusiasts can carve their turns on in the snow on the glacier.
