General Terms and Conditions
Feriendorf Wallenburg
1. Scope of Application
These general terms and conditions apply to the provision of accommodations as well as to all further services provided to guests by Feriendorf Wallenburg.
2. Price Information
All prices displayed are in euros and, unless otherwise agreed in individual cases, include VAT.
Price changes are reserved, and any price changes due to changes in taxes and levies are the responsibility of the tenant (guest of Feriendorf Wallenburg). In addition, any new government levies will be passed on in the communicated and agreed prices.
The displayed prices are for the apartment and do not include tourist tax and final cleaning. Both amounts, if known, will be shown on the booking confirmation.
3. Reservation & Payment
3.1 Offer/Quotation
An offer or quotation sent by Feriendorf Wallenburg is always a non-binding offer and is not binding.
3.1 Booking
Feriendorf Wallenburg is only responsible for bookings made directly through personal contact, email, or the official website.
3.2 Booking Confirmation
An agreement between the tenant and Feriendorf Wallenburg is only concluded once the tenant has received a booking confirmation from Feriendorf Wallenburg. This also applies to bookings made through a third party (such as Booking.com).
3.3 Deposit
To finalize the booking, we require a deposit of 20% of the total amount. The exact amount of the deposit and the payment deadline are stated in the individual booking confirmation.
The booking is only considered final once the deposit has been paid. If the deposit deadline is not met, Feriendorf Wallenburg reserves the right to cancel the booking without further notice and make the apartment available for rent again.
4. Rental Period & Check-in/Check-out
4.1 During the high season, the rental period is typically from Saturday to Saturday, and during the mid and low seasons, bookings of 3 nights or more are possible.
4.2 The rented apartment is available from 3:00 pm on the agreed day of arrival. Arrival before 3:00 pm is only possible by prior arrangement and will incur charges:
Arrival before 10:30 am: € 100,00
Arrival between 10:30 am and 3:00 pm: € 50,00
4.2.1 The reception is generally open until 6:00 pm. If an arrival, planned or unplanned, occurs after 6:00 pm, please notify us by phone or email.
4.3 The rented apartment must be vacated and made available by 10:00 am on the agreed day of departure. If a departure after 10:00 am is desired, this can only be arranged with Feriendorf Wallenburg and will incur additional charges.
5. Shortening of stay or early departure
5.1 After the free cancellation period has ended, it is not possible to shorten the stay.
5.2 In case of early departure from Feriendorf Wallenburg, no refund will be provided.
6. Cancellation Policy & No-show
In case you wish to cancel a booking, this must be communicated in writing. The cancellation is only confirmed after receiving written confirmation from Feriendorf Wallenburg.
The following cancellation fees apply:
– Once the deposit is paid, the booking is final, and in case of cancellation, the deposit will be retained.
– If canceled within 6 weeks before the arrival date, 50% of the total amount will be charged.
– If canceled within 4 weeks before the arrival date, 75% of the total amount will be charged.
– If canceled within 2 weeks before the arrival date, 100% of the total amount will be charged.
If the remaining payment has not yet been made, the outstanding amount will be charged to the tenant within 2 working days after the cancellation. This amount must be paid immediately.
If the remaining payment has already been made, Feriendorf Wallenburg will refund the percentage amount – as stated above – to the tenant’s known bank account within 5 working days.

7. Cancellation by Feriendorf Wallenburg
7.1 As mentioned in point 3.3, a booking can be canceled if you have not paid the deposit on time.
7.2 If the tenant does not appear before 6:00 pm on the agreed day of arrival, there is no obligation to provide accommodation unless a later arrival time has been agreed upon.
8. Cleaning
8.1 A final cleaning is carried out by Feriendorf Wallenburg for each booked apartment. Charges apply, as indicated on the booking confirmation.
8.2 If, after the tenant’s departure, it is found that the apartment has not been left in a satisfactory condition, Feriendorf Wallenburg reserves the right to charge the guest retrospectively for any additional work, repairs, or replacements.
9. Smoking
Feriendorf Wallenburg exclusively offers non-smoking apartments – smoking is strictly prohibited in all apartments. If tenants do not adhere to our no-smoking policy, we reserve the right to terminate the rental period early and charge for additional cleaning.
Smoking is permitted on balconies and terraces; please use the provided ashtray.
10. Dogs
10.1 Bringing one dog is permitted by prior arrangement and for an additional fee. The dog owner must bring their own basket, crate, blanket, and food. Poop bags are provided in the accommodation.
10.2 Any damage caused by the dog inside or around the accommodation is the responsibility of the tenant/dog owner.
11. Maximum number of persons
11.1 The tenant may not sublet the apartment or accommodate more people than agreed upon. If more people stay than agreed upon, we will charge an additional € 500,00.
11.2 The maximum number of persons for the respective accommodation may be exceeded in some cases by adding an extra bed. However, this is only possible by prior arrangement and will incur additional charges.
12. Liability
12.1 Feriendorf Wallenburg shall not be liable for any damage and/or injury that occurs during the stay on our premises, regardless of the cause thereof, unless gross negligence on our part can be proven.
12.2 The tenant is liable for fulfilling all obligations arising from the agreement, both for themselves and for all registered fellow travelers.
12.3 The tenant shall be fully liable for any damage caused during their stay at Feriendorf Wallenburg and must personally settle any further steps or insurance claims.
All costs arising from this are to be borne by the tenant, and if Feriendorf Wallenburg advances certain costs, these must be transferred to our account within 5 working days.
13. Outsourced Services
If Feriendorf is required to have services performed by third parties, we reserve the right to charge a 20% handling fee.
14. Early Termination of the Rental Period
14.1 Feriendorf Wallenburg is entitled to terminate the rental period immediately, especially if the tenant: uses the premises in a significantly detrimental manner, or disrupts the cohabitation of other tenants, the owner, or his employees by reckless, offensive, or otherwise grossly improper behavior, or commits a criminal offense against property, morality, or physical safety against these persons.
14.2 If the performance of the rental period becomes impossible due to an event that must be considered force majeure (such as natural disasters, government measures, etc.), Feriendorf Wallenburg may terminate the rental period at any time without notice, unless the contract is already considered terminated according to the law, or Feriendorf Wallenburg is relieved of its obligation to provide accommodation. Any claims for compensation, etc. from the tenant are excluded.
15. House Rules and General Information
15.1 House rules apply in the apartments, on and around the premises. These rules can be found in the information folder accessible via the QR code on the welcome card or in the welcome folder located in the apartment. Every guest is obliged to comply with these house rules.
15.2 In case of violation of the house rules or suspected violation thereof, Feriendorf Wallenburg is entitled to exclude the tenant from further stay in the accommodation. This gives Feriendorf Wallenburg the right to terminate the rental period immediately. In this case, the tenant’s obligation to pay the rent remains in force.
