Swimming is perfect in the summer months for a welcome cool-off and is a favourite activity especially for children. Our own heated pool with (roof if it rains) is open for swimming and splashing until the middle of September. But you can also take a swimming excursion and visit the Lauchsee (moor lake) nearby, a lovely lake in the midst of nature with wonderfully pleasant water.
But not only the Lauchsee is near our Wallenburg Holiday Village. You can also take a great swim in the Pillersee. Here the water is invigoratingly fresh and clear.
And if you are planning a day trip with swimming: Nearby there is the Königssee Lake at Berchtesgaden, the Salzburg Lake District with Wallersee, Obertrumer See, Mattsee and Grabensee, or also the Salzburg/Upper Austria lake district with Mondsee, Wolfgangsee, Fuschlsee, Altausseersee, Grundlsee, etc. And also the Chiemsee, the "Bavarian Sea", can be reached by car in only 2 hours.
